This series started as a response to continued suburban expansion across my neighborhood, which resulted in the chopping down of many hundreds of trees across Seattle’s Eastside. These are portraits of some of the trees that once stood, documented by date and location, combined with drawn elements inspired by bar codes for lumber products found at my local Home Depot.
